Youth and Parents!

Don’t miss out on these two upcoming opportunities!

SUNDAY, Aug. 29 – Youth Kick-off (Parents asked to attend, too!)

Join us for a swim party and cookout at the Collins’ home (180 Tennessee View St.).

The youth will have fun in the pool while the parents are meeting poolside with the youth counselors. You’ll hear about upcoming youth happenings and much more! We’ll start at 5:30 pm and finish by 7:30 pm. We are excited about kicking off a new year in youth ministry and want all youth and parents there – feel free to bring friends, too!  Parents are asked to sign up to bring something for the meal- please email Linda at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. SUNDAY, Sept. 12 – River of Life and Rafting!

Be sure to sign up in advance (parents are welcome) for a great day of fun, worship and service. The cost is $15 plus you’ll need to bring money for lunch after rafting. We will meet at the church lower parking lot ready to go at 7:30 am for a trip to the NOC and River of Life worship.  Following worship, we’ll do some clean up around the river’s edge, and then load up the rafts for a trip down the river. You’ll need to make sure you turn in your money and your permission forms (both the NOC waiver and FUMC medical form). Be sure to wear old clothes over your swimsuit and shoes that can get wet and dirty. You’ll also want to bring a towel and change of clothes and shoes to wear afterwards!
